Magento Sales Email Not Sent

Starting with magento 1.9.1 the emails are not being sent directly during by customer or when i click send email from the admin panel "sales. Magento not sending order confirmation emails to admin. in cms > sales emails set order > sent emails via seperate order confirmation email not sending. I've recently upgraded to magento ce 1.9.1.0 and our order confirmation emails are not being sent to customers or the employees here that are setup to receive.
